The consultation process began this week.  All UNISON members employed in FE Colleges should by now have received a consultation paper.  It is important that completed consultation papers are returned to the Branch before 7th September 2009.

Any member who has not yet received a consultation paper should contact the Branch Office on 01785 245000.

Following intense negotiations the Association of Colleges (AoC) has agreed to make an improved final pay offer of 1.5% on all salaries and allowances from 1 August 2009.

 UNISON's FE national committee will be discussing its position on the final offer next week.  The committee will also be agreeing a timetable for consulting members in England on the final offer.  Once the committee has confirmed its position and the consultation timetable we will let members and representatives know via a bulletin.
