You can do it!

In fact, £100 cash prize says you can! (Just in time for Christmas).

You may be familiar with the iconic Rosie the Riveter.  She is a cultural icon, representing the American women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War II, many of whom produced munitions and war supplies. These women sometimes took entirely new jobs replacing the male workers who were in the military.

Staffordshire UNISON are looking for members to recreate Rosie the Riveter’s iconic pose, or even riff with it, modernise it or do something equally eye catching and empowering.

The competition is open to ALL Staffordshire UNISON Branch members, with the exception of Branch Officers and Stewards.

Simply email your picture to with your full name, workplace and contact number, these photos will then be judged by an independent panel who will choose a winner and that member will receive a £100 voucher!

By sending us your image, you are agreeing to let us use it in Staffordshire UNISON’s media platforms and literature to be the face of Staffordshire UNISON. The winners’ image will be used extensively in 2020 in local recruitment and other appropriate campaigns.

Please don’t be shy…. YOU CAN DO IT!

**Please note, this competition is only open to members of Staffordshire Branch of UNISON and not open to UNISON Officers/Stewards.  By sending us your image, you are agreeing for Staffordshire UNISON to use this photo for extensive local recruitment, appropriate advertising campaigns and use on Staffordshire UNISON’s website/social media pages.  Staffordshire UNISON reserves the rights to withdraw this competition at any time**.
