UNISON asked local government employers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland for a pay increase of £3,000. We have received an offer of 3.2% on all pay points, along with the deletion of the lowest pay point.
We are consulting members on this offer now and want you to have your say. We recommend that you vote to reject the offer.
Please vote here. Voting closes on Friday 20 June at midday.
It is vital that every affected member votes in the consultation. UNISON needs to have an accurate picture of members’ views so that it can respond appropriately.
In UNISON’s view, the offer does little to address the continual erosion of pay that members have suffered over the past fifteen years.
Use our pay calculator to find out what this offer means for you.
Please be clear – should you choose to reject the offer; the next step is likely to be an industrial action ballot. We would be asking you to vote ‘YES’ for action.
