Cannock Chase Council is seeking your views on proposed changes to some of their culture and heritage services.
We would like to encourage Staffordshire UNISON Branch members, particularly in and around the Cannock area to engage with this public consultation over the closure of the Prince of Wales Theatre and Cannock Chase Museum. Not only will a significant number of staff (upwards of 40) be made redundant, but the ramifications for the local economy will be far reaching and these historical and entertainment facilities be lost now, but also for future generations. It won’t ever be coming back!
