Are you getting paid less than £12.21 an hour?
Your pay is going up on 1st April – make sure you get it.
From 1st April 2025, adult rate (21 years+) of the National Minimum Wage will be £12.21/hour
Check your payslips, and take it up with your employer if you don’t get the increase. If you are a member of a trade union you can take it up with your trade union rep/steward.
Also from 1st April 2025:
◦workers aged 18-20 years, minimum will be £10.00/hr
◦minimum rate for 16 to 17 year olds and for apprentices aged 18, will be £7.55/hr
