On 24 March 2026, following pay talks, the NJC Employers’ Side made a pay offer for 2026 for England, Cymru and Northern Ireland.

The claim is for an increase of 3.3% on all pay points from 1 April.

The Employers rejected the other elements of the unions’ claim, covering leave, hours and a £15 an hour minimum pay rate.

You can read the Employers’ offer letter here.

UNISON’s NJC Committee will be meeting very soon to discuss the offer and consider next steps.

UNISON General Secretary Andrea Egan has made a campaign video promoting our pay campaign. Please watch it here and share it as widely as possible.
