There are still spaces left on our online learning session for school support staff to look into raising awareness of the whole school culture on addressing sexism. Delivered by UK Feminista, the session will equip support staff with tools and knowledge on how to combat sexual harassment and sexism in schools.
The online session will run on 5 June from 4pm to 5.30pm and is open to all UNISON members working in schools.
The session will cover:
- Evidence on the scale and nature of sexism in schools.
- How to tackle sexual harassment, sexist language and gender stereotyping in your role as support staff.
- Why a whole-school approach is most effective for tackling sexism.
- Ofsted and legal requirements to tackle sexism and sexual harassment.
Register for the session on 5th June here.
If you can’t make this session, there will be another chance to attend on 8 October.
